Thinking about putting my Nakamichi CR2A back in the system for the first time in 10 years...
Only have about 25 cassettes left...

Q. What are the sonic differences between vinyl tape and digital at the mid-fi level?

Q.are there available cassettes that are as desired as say vinyl?

Gramophone and some others i remember were sonically much better long ago..

Cassettes are for people that like the recording process, IMO. It's also convenience - mix tapes, no feedback, etc.
