Revox B225 door won't operate

I've come across a unit that did not operate. Did a full recap, including the five in the drawer mechanism. It
now plays, but I can't get the drawer to open or close. I checked the motor and its drive transistors and both
tested OK. The rack and pinion gear mechanism is properly set. I also cleaned the pins of all connectors
leading to that board. It sounds great and I hate to give up on it.

Any suggestions?

If anyone is interested, the problem was that the touch sensor behind the LOAD button wasn't making contact.
A quick and gentle wipe with fine steel wool, and the problem was fixed.
