Press Play and Stand Back
I recapped my RG-2 a couple of years ago, and for additional longevity's sake, decided a couple of nights ago to replace the transistors. The unit works great, so there's no troubleshooting involved.
I hunted around, but didn't find a list anywhere, so decided to post mine here, in case anyone in the future needs a reference. I compared my board to the service manual, fortunately they were identical. I dug around the web for cross-reference compatible numbers and found them all. Maybe someone has an opinion for alternatives, quite possible, as I am not an EE.
I have replaced the 25 transistors listed below, and my RG-2 is back up and working great.
As always, YMMV, check your board, watch your pins, don't assume.
