Ribbon tweeter identification help

Picked these tweeters up at a G-sale, today. I am wondering if they are Heil, Realistic, or other? As is pictured on the top of the tweeter on the right, "WARNING-unauthorized removal of diaphragm voids warranty coverage". These are 6" x 6 1/2" enclosures and are heavy (10lbs.). Any ID help is appreciated.

Yes, thanks so much. Can I play them with a capacitor in series on a speaker lead and any recommendations on cap size? This would just be for testing.
 
Thanks again. I'll have to get out my crossover calculator. There is also a clip on the back with four red plastic Fuses? I'll start looking around and searching to see what model these are.
 
2500 Hz at 12 dB/octave (second order crossover) works well on those. You might try using a slightly bigger coil and slightly smaller cap, than the "textbook" formula... IME, that frequently sounds really good...

I would incorporate them into a 3 way system, using a mid-bass driver. I dont believe in using a 12" driver to cover the mids like ESS did (sort-of, they crossed the Heil too low). Find a good, fast 6" to match the "speed" of the Heil (I recommend Morel HU series) and you'll have something.

Agreed. I would probably use 2 or 3 of the 6" woofers and let them cover the bass range, or alternately find a 10" model that works well in a sealed enclosure, low resonant frequency, cross it over around 250 Hz to a 4" or 5" midbass/midwoofer. Either way will get you there.
 
If I had a Heil, I'd build a modernized, improved clone of an AMT3 Rock Monitor. Here's the midrange I'd use, if money were not an issue:

For woofers, it'd be hard to beat TWO of these per cabinet (duplicate the original AMT3 cabinet volume, ie, around 4 cubic feet total, 2 cubic feet per woofer):

Crossovers at around 500 Hz and 2500 Hz... maybe using the two woofers as a 3.5 way (one woofer crossed in at maybe 100-300 Hz, the other one going up to meet the midrange) if it sounds better that way...
