Haven't posted my Setup in this thread before (I think)
The Naks being quite rare to find apparantly....
Sounds amazing...The Jbls are pushed well by the 200wpc

For music listening..

I would like to have 2.
As It is I have the sub to my left of my chair and it can sound a little one sided.

Currently I have been using a Amazon HD via a tablet. I keep meaning to pick up a schiit modi Dac.
But recently I have been thinking about a Nak CD player to match in with the system. But finding one is no doubt going to be a problem. Hopefully one will turn up in my area...

Probably the last set up I will buy, I can't imagine me having anything else...unless perhaps McIntosh...

Why daisy chained? I prefer stereo subs when I can.

My subs in my tv area are mono due to the output on the back of my integrated. If it had left/right preamp outs like your CA-5, I'd definitely be running my subs as left and right.

Output 1 to power amp
output 2 to subwoofer.
 
One subwoofer receives only left channel signal from your preamp. The other one only receives right channel signal from your preamp. Stereo.
 
I've been reading up a bunch on stereo vs dual mono subs and as with many things audio, there doesn't seem to be a consensus as to which is the better configuration, only that running dual mono subs helps with taming room modes as @Flippo63 mentioned.

My preamp can save multiple profiles so I'll likely load both to see which I prefer but based on my near-squarish room dimensions I'll likely benefit more from a dual-mono configuration.
 
Update to my system...
Replaced boston subwoofer with a 15" Velodyne subwoofer and...holy cow, it sure does move some air...

Also no more problems with my bass feeling one sided. It's just everywhere. Including downstairs...and possibly in my neighbours houses.

Good looking system. Looks like a great amp/speaker pairing.

I'm using "stereo" JBL SUB550P 10" subs with my 590's. Currently running 590's full-range and rolling subs off above 40 Hz.
 
I just added a klipsch R12SW to my set up in the corner & rearranged things a bit.
Bass is as good as I can can get it right now.
Just feeling it rather then hearing it.
I am chasing an SVS sub now though..

Nice setup! I'm running the JBL Stage a170's and four (4) 12" Dayton Audio SUB 1200 subwoofers. The JBLs run full range and the subs are low passed at 75hz acting as one within the room.
