Richie Hayward dead.

I feared this day would come for quite some time. With his health problems I'm just glad he was around as long as he was. Still he will be missed.

Time to spin Time Loves a Hero and Day or Night. One of my favorite grooves from any drummer.

I just saw the news...:tears:

One night, in Denmark in the 70es, I was about 16...German TV had a live multi-band concert. The Police/Mother's Finest/Dicky Betts and Great Southern...and headlining, Little Feat.

My introduction to them in all their glory. "Fat Man in the Bathtub" and on and on....I have never forgotten that night, or the deep deep groove they laid down.

Rest well, Richie. You helped us live better through your music. Thank you for that.

Claus.

Very sad, he was definitely a favorite...as mentioned, some really good stuff with Robert Plant as well. A shame.
