All:
Its with a sad and heavy heart that I announced the passing of big Michael A Liberio, aka blzatrl123 here on AK. Mike is a passionate Klipsch and JBL lover and its well loved in the audiophile community in Illinois/Wisconsin. Mike passed away tragically on July 25, 2019 and a gave our memorial gathering honoring his life was held yesterday in Bartlett, IL. A number of us in the area was able to attend and extend our condolences to his mom and sister.
Mike is one of the nicest and most unflappable guys I ever met. He is a regular on robie's annual AK gathering and is constantly tinkering with his he-man rig. I had the honor of visiting with Mike and his home earlier this year and really enjoyed his system. Mike inspired me to get my own set of Dynaco Mark 3 monoblocks and turn me towards vintage JBL monitors. His customized KLF30s are flat out awesome!
Mike will be sorely missed. "TURN IT UP" my friend.

Kind words.
I don't remember running across Mike. He sounds like a nice guy ( for lack of better words).
I'm always saddened when I see one of us go. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you, Kwing. Mike was the best!

I mentioned this as well as the upcoming get togethers, the first one on August 18th, here.

Very saddened when any AK'er leaves us. A salute to and RIP to blzatrl123. Mike, I only wish I'd known you in person. You and I shared common interests. When I score my first pair of Heresies, I'll play something in memoriam.

RIP and my prayers and condolences to friends and family.

I dont know if im supposed to click the like button on an unhappy post like this or not ,i joined AK to track down and speak with my old friend Mulester7 again only to find out he had passed a month before i joined, seems as alot of us baby boomers have passed & its sad,i dont know the AK'er you speak of but my condolences go out to his family and friends none the less ,God Speed brother .

RIP, Mike. I don't believe our paths crossed here on AK and that's a shame because I think I would have liked you.

Thanks to kwingylee for sharing the sad news.

I think the Wall of Remembrance is a wonderful thing, everyone. Thank you AK staff. I was just looking at an old post yesterday, and saw Dshoaf's RIP and his years in his avatar. Such a clean, respectful way to let others know, and to remind us.

RIP to bizatrl123, may his family remember the good times.

What a loss for our group! This guy was such a delight to talk with. Always a smile on his face and such a welcoming friendly attitude. I looked forward to seeing him every year.
