RIP Christopher Plummer

He happened to be seated at the table next to my wife and me at an LA restaurant about 20 years ago. He was friendly, couldn’t have been nicer.
RIP

Dang. He was the only redeemable aspect of Star Trek III The Search for Spock.

Edit: wow I got this really wrong. Christopher Plumber was in Star Trek VI, a great movie. He delivered an awesome performance. A little campy but that’s fine.

Truly a great loss, they don't make 'em like this anymore. One of my favorite movies is The Royal Hunt of the Sun, with Plummer in the role of Emperor Atahualpa.

You weren't too far off mark with him in "Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country" where he played the Klingon General Chang. He also voiced Chang for some Star Trek video games.
What a talent, he was equally at home with roles as the good guy as well as the bad guy. R.I.P.

One of my favorite films of his was his portrayal of Sherlock Holmes in Murder By Decree, which he was investigating the Jack The Ripper killings.

This scene was over-dubbed in 'Sound Of Music', in the movie they used Bill Lee's voice.
This clip is without the dubbing and is his real voice.
RIP

Late to the party...sorry.

Mr. Plummer was an actor who wore many faces in his long career of entertaining...and did it with a certain style!

Even towards the end of his time on the stage, he played The Kaiser, and wore the mantle so well.

He has left his indelible mark in the acting guild.

Both audience and fellow people he worked with will miss him. I know I will!

RIP CP
