Certainly one of the last of the old school record shop owners. He had a passion for Vinyl and never gave up on the format. It's comforting to know that he lived long enough to see the Vinyl revival. I kept all the price stickers on the numerous legacy Vinyl I bought from that store .. glad I did. Always enjoyed talking to Jerry. Not from the Pittsburgh area but visited the store many times over the years.

Requiescat in pace Jerry

Pittsburgh Post-Gazette << link .. they did a good job on the write up.

Read the article. I certainly appreciate the passion here. RIP Jerry. Wonder if someone will take over here?

I've been there quite a few times, basically every time I made it to Pittsburgh. Jerry always gave me the "Jersey discount" when I bought several lps when he found out I was from NJ. A true gentleman, with encyclopedic knowledge of music and his incredible collection. Jerry had sold the store by the time of my last visit in 2019, but the new owner Chris seemed to be continuing the good vibes.

Godspeed Jerry. You will be missed.

A sad loss. Knew of Jerry's Records (due to friends) and knew of his passion. R.I.P. Jerry Weber. This record collector is sad at your passing. Thanks!!!
