RIP Peter Steele

I go way back to the Carnivore days with Peter Steele. I will wait for an official statement before I light any candles.

Yeah... I was just reading a few other blurbs that popped up on Google which had confirmations from reliable sources. Sounds like the band and management just haven't made a statement yet.

I was never the biggest Type O Negative fan, but Carnivore were great, and Peter wrote some solid jams on Agnostic Front's "Cause For Alarm" record. RIP

What a shock

I listen to them all the time, they were always consistent not to mention they always did one cover of a rock classic on each CD.
My favorite Peter Steele story is he posed for a PLAYGIRL Centerfold and when management after the fact told him 83% of the subscriptions were by men he wrote a song to be included on their next CD titled "I Like Goils." What a loss R.I.P.:tears:
