I remember these lyrics as if it were yesterday:

Green acres is the place to be
Farm living is the life for me
Land spreading out,
so far and wide
Keep Manhattan,
just give me that countryside.

New York
is where I'd rather stay
I get allergic smelling hay
I just adore a penthouse view
Darling, I love you,
but give me Park Avenue

The Chores
The Stores
Fresh air
Times Square

You are my wife. Goodbye city life.
Green Acres we are there!

RIP

"They're creepy & they're kooky.
Mysterious & spooky,
They're altogether Ooky
The Addams Family...
Their house is a Museum,
When People come to see 'em
They really are a Screa-Uhm,
The Addams Family...
Neat...Sweet...Petite...
So get a witches' shawl on,
A broomstick you can crawl on,
We're gonna pay a call on
The Addams Family..."
Remember it like it was yesterday...

I saw this on the news this morning as well.

How cool would it have been to have written the theme song for the Addams Family?

Imagine this. You're at a party. Someone asks "What do you do?"

You say "I'm a song writer".

"Anything I might be familiar with?" they ask.

You look at them and say "do do do doop" and snap your fingers twice!

That would have been the BEST!
