Wayne Moss, an A-list guitarist who played on Roy Orbison, Tammy Wynette, Dolly Parton and Bob Dylan recordings as well as many others, has passed away at 88 from lung disease.
In 1959 he unsuccessfully auditioned for Chet Atkins at RCA, so he went on the road with Brenda Lee (!) When he returned, he started to secure studio work.
He was also a record producer, building Cinderella Studios in 1961, Nashville's oldest continuously operating independant studio.
