I am very pleased with the performance of the RJM Phonoclone m/c stage kit that I built last year. The component designer, Richard Murdy is an innovator. On his website, he has posted some experimental speaker cable designs using cat 5, plenum data cable. I'm specifically interested in the Endeavor-X2 version. Here's the link:

I found a couple of 85', cable tag-ends on-line at 10 cents/foot. So fabricating a set of speaker cables won't require much investment. If they perform well, I'll consider dressing them up with Tech-Flex, etc.
Anybody have any experience, thoughts, or comments on this concept?
