"I am a retired vet and moving to a condo. I won't be taking these pieces with me and they are like brand new and not used much. I’d be careful on these only because the “I’m a retired vet and ...” credibility builder seems like a hook, seems out of place for any other reason and makes me feel that it could be a scam, please be careful folks not to send money to anyone you don’t know.

I could be wrong, and would like to be.

I mean, all caution on CL is prudent, but I read it as the seller letting you know that he bought these while on active duty in ‘78.
