Robert Cray LP with Bon Jovi label

I'm taking an offline sabbatical for a while...but I saw this today and just had to ask if anyone else has seen this particular mistake, or this sort of thing in general.

In my efforts to play every record I own, I just discovered that my copy of "Strong Persuader" by Robert Cray on Mercury has the label from Bon Jovi's "Slippery When Wet" on Side One.

I think the BIGGER QUESTION is Why are you taking an "offline Sabbatical"? Never seen an album with two different lables, Kinda cool if you ask me.

odd. My copy of 'Persuader' seems Bon Jovi-Free.

I have the same thing on one of my records

I have a Pop-O-Pies record, the record is "Joe's Second Record", but the label on it for their third record. I never understood how or why, I just got it that way when I purchased it (second hand)

I haven't heard of that particular one, but it did happen often enough. I have a couple of discs where there is no print on the label - just the main label. I also have a 45 where the labels and just the B side are correct, but the A side is another band entirely. There are lots of fun accidents like that. Trouble is they are only worth money it seems when they are Beatles or Dylan discs!

I bought a new Doobie Brothers LP one time, got it home and there was an album by America in the cover. :scratch2:
