May he rest in peace, he was such an impressive actor - and director as well.

A stalwart in the movie industry, with the many different roles he played, being true to character in his performances in more than 50 big screen productions.

This guy was in a lot great movies some of the cooler ones

3 Days of The Condor
Downhill Racer
Brubaker
Spy Game
Jeremiah Johnson

I'm sure there are some others

The last I saw of him was a cameo he & J.R.R Martin did in the TV Series Darkwind that they co-created

So many wonderful films.

Sad to hear of his passing. I can't think of any movie of his I didn't enjoy.

[aeberbach]

He was one of the good ones, his name was a guarantee that I would find something to like in anything he joined.

[Mr Boochie]

RIP.

See you later...

I enjoyed "Hot Rock." Especially, the scene where George Segal is picking Redford up after being released from jail. In a new Cadillac (I think?) that George is unfamiliar with.

Just saw this reported. Another great one gone. All The Presidents Men was my favorite because a lot of us lived through that time and couldn't wait to see those involved get justice except the one. The Natural is right up there along with the Sting. Take care Bob.

Another good one gone. *sigh* I love quite a few of his classics, but also have a heart for more recent ones like "A walk in the Woods" or "The Old Man & the Gun".

Greetings from Munich!
