Ugh. $1200 for those Arials. I want them. Great price. If anyone is local don't pass these up.
I love the vintage speakers that we tend to talk about there, but the 10T's are simply at a different level. I've listened to a pair of first gen's extensively. I was happy to pay $1500 for my gen 1's. These appear to be gen 2's which go for more.
I'd rank them above all the following that have passed through my collection in recent years:
Polk SDA-SRS, and 1.2TL
Pioneer HPM-200
Klipsch: KHorns(I am conflicted about this because they are very different. If pushed, I would remove the Khorns from this list), Chorus, KG5.5, KLF30's, Klipsch Epic CF4
Definitive Technology BP2000
Legacy Audio Classics
I can't emphasize enough, these spears are really good. If you are local and can get them below $1700, don't hesitate!
