Rogers Compact Monitors - Need Opinion

Hi all. There is this pair of Rogers Compact Monitor available in my area. This is what he wrote:

"One of rarerest Rogers speaker. Made in year 1978.
2-way, 8" woofer, 8ohms, handling capacity 50watts speech and music.
The sound is very natural and transparent.
These are more powerful and dynamic bass compare to LS 3/5A."

I would like to know from owners the sound characteristics of these speakers. Specifically, can they play large scale orchestra music well?

I have Rogers LS2a and they sound very clean and crisp. I dont know how Rogers Ls3/5a sounds but you need to audition to make sure what he claims.

Thanks for your sharing. Do you need to subwoofer to get batter lows?

Woofers are too small and if you want better bass you may need subwoofer. Since I use them in garage, I dont need sub.
