I was recently gifted from family a pair of Rogers Ls2 bookshelf speakers. Cool British speakers.
I am really on the fence about selling or keeping as I could use the money. Is there a need to replace The caps or look out for anything with speakers this old if I decide to keep?
I just a/b tested a with some good tunes tonight with my Klipsch RP-600 and I do think the Rogers have a slight edge but the Klipsch are brand new so I’m thinking they might be more reliable and easier to keep and just last longer. I was happy before these beautiful Rogers stumbled into my life. I just don’t want sellers remorse haha.
Would I be a fool to let the Rogers go? And anyone have a fair value on them as the price seems to be all over. Anywhere from 600-1200 on eBay but that Seems a bit unreasonable.
any opinions on these nice sounding but older speakers?
