Hello,

I have a pair of Rogers LS3/5a speakers. These ones (I think) are from the early 90s.

ATM I'm using them with a Naim Nait 5i-2 int amp. I only play them at low vol.

I've been told these speakers work best with tubes. Any particular tube amps that work well with the LS3/5a?

Regards.

The rogers need some current.....so use a tube amp with some power. Spoiled for choices....Leak, Quad, and a lot more.

The nait is a nice amp....you could also put the money towards upgrading the source....go for accuphase, spectral etc. cd players...(analogue sound)

The Nait is not the most polite sounding amp, but it does good things.

Will hopefully be getting a Leak 20 in the new year.

Regards.
