Not the nicest cab since it's been modified a few times over the years but it's all about the horse power LOL

I plan on building a new cab to fit it all soon but the back is open where the amps are so cooling is not an issue

Uh oh, cops showed up last night, they did not say much after I let them in and they saw the rack. One of them said they remember their Dad having a Phase Linear 700 and mentioned the cops showed up at HIS house LMAO!!!! It was after 10pm so they asked that I modulate it a little

Hey northwinds, as you can see in my sig I also run a WOPL. How do you use 2? Are you just running one for each set of speakers with 2 lines out of the pre?
At some point I see getting more power (considering the speakers in my sig). The 400 does fantastic, but you know, why not bump it up.

I bought a set of splitters off eBay so I can run both off my Perreaux. One drives the D9s, the other drives the E-712s. Michele (drummergrl) just got a set also and she will be running dual 400s very soon!

I have a soft spot for the WOPL400s, they are so sweet sounding

Well I am just wondering if I trade up to a 700/1000 or just get another 400 and vertical passive bi-amp them.

i have a WOPL 400 under construction at the moment, and expect to see it in the system shortly. can't wait...

Your going to have a stupid grin on your face first time you fire it up! Congrats Brother! You doing the full comp TOTL version?

Northwinds/Drugolf-- a couple years ago, i asked the tech i work with to solve some transient bursts coming from one channel of the amp, and he diagnosed a failing capacitor. at the time we did a partial WOPL, with the big new caps and etc. he also retouched the circuit board and did all maintenance up to but not including the White Oak circuit board. i started having trouble again, so we decided to go all the way this time. i really look forward to it.

Outstanding.
mine has the full monty WO upgrades and I recently picked up a nice wood case for it. It runs so cool now, I felt wrapping her in a nice wooden dress would do her justice.
