ROR (Series D) speakers

Does anybody know anything about these ROR speakers? Do they have a good reputation?

They were just given to me by a relative who knew nothing about them.

Not much info on the speakers. Looks like they were produced by Audio Research Inc.
It is a series D. 8 ohms

Hi neeyareh and welcome to AK. I had a pair ROR once with dual 6.5 and a dome tweeter. Don't remember the model but they had tight bass and nice highs. All I know about them is the woofers are difficult to source and the tweeters may lose their coating. The designer was Ted Rothstein and I understand ROR was used in studios. I would refoam them and give em a listen. They are good speakers.
