Rosedale vs Wharfedale W-70E speakers

What, if any, is the difference between the Wharfedale Rosedale speakers and the W-70E???
They look very similar. Both have 15 inch woofers and the newer(??) dome tweeters.
The mids do look a tad different. Both are on E-bay....the Rosedales are 45 miles from me.

I had a pair of Rosedales. I believe the Rosedales were the name for foreign market sold W70E's. Mine were bought in Asia by a military guy and the cabinet was made by Radio People, but they looked great and were well made. So my understanding is that the drivers/components were all the same as W70E's but the cabinets were made locally and speakers assembled locally to the region where they were sold.

So effectively, I think they're acoustically the same.

I just purchased Rosedales. The plaque on them has the Made in England address and also say W70D's

Do they have the larger 15in woofers and smaller enclosed tweets??

I don't have them here. As soon as I pick them up I will get back to you. They are my 3rd set of W70's

It looks like the Rosedales crossed over between the w70D and W70E versions. I have brought this up several times but I am starting to believe Wharfedale didn't have very rigid control on what version had what drivers or crossovers in them. Just my opinion, but it just does not seem very clear as to what was what in each alleged model.
