Calling on all RT-909 master engineers. Yesterday I rotated the three tape guides on my RT-909 that were worn; now when I stop and re-engage a tape in the middle of a 10.5" reel it seems to take a few seconds to get up to speed. Would there be that much of a difference in the torque between the pinch rollers and capstans since roatating them? The wear was significant on all three. Should I readjust the capstan torque (seloniod gap) to make up for the old wear? Never had an issue until I rotated them. Suggestions?
