Rotel RA-1412 missing knobs!

It was bound to happen sooner or later. With three little ones running around the house, I have never had any of my gear even suffer a pushed in dust cap.
Today, I noticed two knobs missing from the Rotel RA-1412 amp. My three year old was somehow able to pull them off and lose them.
If it comes down to it, and it looks like I might have to find myself a parts unit, does anyone know if any other Rotel amp share the same rectangulalr knobs as the RA-1412?

I feel for you!!!! Hopefully a junker will show up which you can strip. However, I have a feeling those parts are going to turn up sooner or later.

Strange thing, several 1412,1312 units I have seen also had at least 1 or 2 of those missing also. Probably just fell of when pushed and the "pusher" felt bad and hid them!

Crappy design!

Yeah, I'm not surprised at all. The way that those knobs were secured for that control arrangement wasn't thought out too well. Kind of a hookey deal.

It really makes me appreciate the way Pioneer designed the input controls on the big SX receivers. The knobs cannot fall out!

I asked Ryan, my three year old where the knobs went. He pointed to a drawer, but darn, the knobs were not in there.
He said, Dad a bad guy probably took them! :D

Got to chuckle... Three year olds!
