Hi all

Phono output is soft in the right channel.

Things ive tried to narrow down the issue.
- Use headphones through front HP jack = same issue
- searched for dry joints, resoldered a few = same issue
- connected speaker to the Tape Out rca outputs, = same issue

All other parts of the amp work properlyRotel RA413 schematic.png

Hope this can be a simple fix. I really need your expertise.

Cheers

Well, if it is on phono only, and you are confident the switches are all clean, then the problem must be in IC402 or associated circuitry. I don't normally like to 'shot gun' things, but in this case it might be easiest to start by replacing C404, C410, and C418.

OK, ill order those 3 Caps and replace. Ill report back once done. Thanks so much for your help

Wait! Did you swap the phono cables to see if the fault followed the swap?
Good thought Cademan. Rat_tat, swap the signal input cables and see if the problem remains on the right or if it moves to the left.
