Hi all, happy new year to everyone! I’ve picked up over the holidays a non working Rotel RB-2000 power amplifier, seems pretty decent looking at the specs and build. It had many dry joints and a few leaking and shorted caps, have managed to get one channel working and almost finished the other however there is a suspect fault with the inrush current board, on start up the relay makes a buzzing-arch sound, I checked the resistors on the board all test well and I’ve replaced the 100uf cap. The buzz only lasts a second and then clicks in fine I suspect it needs a new relay
Can someone recommend a replacement relay? According to the service manual it’s location is RY301 the relay itself says MC1 24v TV-5 thanks
