Roy Clark has passed away.

[OldPolishGuy]

Saw this on another guitar specific forum I visit. Looks like we've lost another great one.

Although I didn't really care for the show nor Country Music in general, I did respect Roy as a guitarist/musician and all-around great guy.

OPG.

[Yamaki]

That is a loss to the music community and pickers at large.

Man, that boy could pick and grin...

RIP, Roy Clark.

So was that . I listened multiple times .
I prefer instrumentals to vocals anyway
Real pros both .
.Hee Haw was funny . And clean .

Sad news. I have been a fan since the 70s.

The world is poorer for his passing, but richer for his prescence. Farewell Roy.

RIP Roy.

One heck of a guitar player.

Stan Lee and Roy within days of each other.

[qdrone]

I wish he had more exposure cause I really dug the man behind the music. He Haw and a few number one hits is really all I remember. I do know Roy was an accomplished guitar player and an avid flyer who flew his own planes to his gigs. R.I.P Roy.

His was one of the must see shows in Branson, Mo back in the 80s.

I can remember being sick in bed as a child and my mom pushing in the black and white TV to my room, telling me there's a new music show I would like.
Hee Haw was always entertaining funny.
He was a great comedian.
RIP
