I replaced the shorted STK-0050, Q10, Q16, and R46. I powered up on a DBT and still had a short.
I de-soldered the power feed to the power amp board and powered up, no short, so it's definitely on the power amp board.
If I turn the unit on to "phones" there is no short and the headphone jack works on low volume, turning up the volume produces a lot of crackling noise. The short comes into play when I turn the unit to speaker "A" or "B".
I tried taking resistance measurements and comparing them to the other left channel. I didn't find any differences.
I've exhausted my troubleshooting expertise.
Is there a way to further troubleshoot without pulling all of the components and checking them individually?
