RS4 speaker stands?

First time poster and new owner of a great pair of RS4's. I have seen a lot of pictures of either rs4 or rs4b's that are slightly elevated. My speakers do not have the stand. I have also read in an old brochure that the stand was an option. My question is does this have a big impact on the speaker and if so does anyone have plans that they would be willing to share?

if a speaker has an associated set of stands to go with, then you can bet its important to the best performance of the unit. but it doesn't have to be the proprietary stand, anything that will get the same elevation and tilt, if any, will work
 
I owned RS-4b's many years ago. The stands had the effect of tilting the speakers back just a little, which helped ensure the tweeters fired at your ears rather than your chest. The stands are not 100% necessary, but I think they will definitely help with imaging and soundstage.

Maybe another member here can give you the dimensions of the stands and you can make some for your speakers.
