Found a pair of recently re-foamed IMG woofers at a good price and figured since newer Infinities use 'em they'd make a good retrofit. The tweeter pot was a little dirty but sounds OK now after twisting it back & forth some. These RSe's have the later version of the crossover but in the dozen years since I got these, one of the crossovers has gone MIA. Thanks to research here, I should be able to duplicate it for the other speaker. Better binding posts, fuse holder and wiring couldn't hurt either.
How does it sound? Pretty good :music: Nice bass for an 8" two-way :yes: It's late here so I can't turn it up yet but I think they'll be a nice pair of keepers once I get both pair up and running :thmbsp:

Just completed a few days of listening and these hybrids sound nice :music: I'm suprised by the amount of bass they have. Much better than the bass from my SS-2004's, but then the Sterling series have a train wreck of a crossover. I'm going to put the other speaker together without the Parallel Notch Filter to see if the IMG woofers really need it.
