Hey all

I just bought a pair of CG82 speakers and the tweeters don't work. I was reading there are thermal protection systems sometimes that break over time.

Would anyone know how they look so I can bypass it?

I feel like there's only one little black box thingie that someone else was talking about. And Im curious if this is the one?

I don't want to break anything, but gotta fix it somehow

Be forewarned that I'm not familiar with this particular speaker. From what I can see, the circuit breaker looks to be in the third pic under a cap. I've never been a fan of fuses or circuit breakers, as they degrade sound quality. I'd bypass it, and use some common sense about high volumes.

Thank you

The previous owner didn't give me the bridging metal, so that fixed the tweeters I panicked and posted before tinkering

But I will whip out my soldering iron and remove it anyways,

Hard to find a manual for this unit
