Swapped my backup pc because it just collected dust in the loft, for a RT-1011L !
Much better :D

Front looks mint and it plays, rewinds, f-forward and record is really nice.
Even for a dirty old gal.

Cons are the sides, It needs some new ones, and noticed some screws missing :(
She really needs some tlc.

Congrats on finding a good looking 1011L. These are very solid machines.

I replaced the original vinyl clad side panels on my 1011L with walnut veneered panels from a 1020L. The 1020L panels are a little thicker than the 1011L panels so if you manage to find some, make sure to get the 1020L screws which are slightly longer. Then add a couple of PR-100 reels complete the look.

i'd love the reels and hubs but they are more expensive than the deck itself :D
For now it will be cheap philips reels untill i have other funds.
