The weather has been too rainy/muddy to work outside, so I took the opportunuty to take my 'H' model down from the shelf and give her some much needed attention. Check on the belts, DeoxIT the pots/switches, clean/demag heads and tend to the pinch roller.

Heres a poor quality cellphone video afterward as I was doing an A/B playback of a song recorded to both decks (1020L & 1020H) from a new 180gram LP. Wanted to see if my ears could hear the difference at 15ips.

A few questions.
No motor oiling tubes?
Do you need to oil the Capstan & Pinch Roller Bearings?
BTW. Where did you get the Head & Rubber cleaners?

Yes, Im going to address all the lube maintenance when the new counter-belt arrives and I open it back up. Any tips or suggestions?

The cleaners were from US Recording, where I get my tape from also.
