Rt-909

[ARosengrant]

Can anyone give the value of a brand new Pioneer RT-909 reel to reel tape deck in original box. I am the only owner of this unit. It has been out of the box once (23 years ago) to test for power. It has whatever came with it from the factory.

Txs.

Welcome to AK.
Even if the deck has been powered up only one time, the drive-belt probably need to be replaced and a service to make it work 100 % again.
From experince with several decks in the past a mint RT-909 that is fully functional and serviced, no cosmetic damage, nice heads, original box, owners manual, Pioneer hub-adaptors + 10-1/2 inch Pioneer metal reel included sell for $ 1000-1500 here in US.
Any damage or some function not working, untested etc, the value goes down.
Just the Pioneer take-up reel sell for $ 75.00 -100.00.

Thank you soooo much. I will have to look closer at it to see what is in the box!
