Rubber platter mat for dual 1229q

Hi All,

got most everything working and now getting the cosmetics. Any recommendations for where to find a rubber mat for one of these? I see some on ebay but not sure which ones are equivalent. (but did score the infamous speed lever!)

I understand the 1229 and 1249 mats are the same. Any others? (using a cork mat right now but want the original with the 3 rings so I can be totally 'stock.'

Already bought the center ring from dual parts so don't need that.

Looks right from the picture, but I can't tell from the part #; which is 234 425

---- never mind, $25 shipping kills it. Perhaps it comes with the platter, which I dont't need.

The mat lists as part no. 227 001 in my Dual 1229 service manual.

Thanks, yes, I did find that but am looking for equivalent items as 227 001 isn't available.

Even if that particular one fitted, it has "Belt Drive" printed on it. So it would not be a correct replacement mat for a non-belt drive Dual model.

FYI - There is a nice condition US 1229 mat & platter available on the usual online auction site now.
