Rumble/Subsonic/Hi Pass filter for phono preamp

I'm thinking on pulling the trigger on a Phonomena II (not the +). I have not seen anything in the literature about it having a rumble filter. I am looking for a cheap alternative to the $180 KAB filter, like inline RCA filters.

Does anyone have experience with these filters or do I even need to consider a filter?

I haven't noticed any woofer pumping with my Scout 1.1 & SAE1000LT cart.

It took my PII about 20-50 hours to settle in nicely and at first I thought I needed filters. I bought some inline ones that worked good, but the excess woofer movement went away, been good ever since.

I bought Harrison Labs inline ones....nowhere near 180.00

Thanks, those are the one's that I've found for around $30 on Amazon.

Harrison Labs. One is a 37hz rolloff at 18db per octave

I was wondering about the cut of freq. I saw the 20hz & 30hz, didn't know they had a 37hz. I was considering the 30hz.

SUB BASS BLOCKER

37 HZ 18 DB PER OCTAVE HIGH PASS FILTER PROTECTS YOUR SPEAKERS FROM VERY LOW RUMBLE THAT CAN DAMAGE YOUR WOOFER. BY REMOVING RUMBLE YOU CAN GET HIGHER LEVELS OF OUTPUT POWER.

This is configured in the FMODCABLE™*black package with a dot on the output cable.
