Russco Cue Master - three speed

I have a chance to get two very dusty Russco Cue Master turntables - without tonearms or plinth for about $150. I believe they came out of an old radio station.

Good deal?

Of course I need two more tables like a hole in the head - but hey I just can't stop myself and it would be fun to restore these babies.

One table will sell for around that price for on ebay so you'd be getting them at half price. The old idlers are fun to play with and you'd probably at least recoup your restoration funds if you got them back into shape.

I'd go for it if I had an extra $150 to spare. You'll likely pay at least that much for one table on epay. Much more if it has been restored.

Thanks for the advice ..... it looks like I'll have a couple of new projects.

To be honest my biggest problem is selling these beauties - just seems wrong somehow! I just finished restoring a REK-O-Kut B-12H that came with the S-160 tonearm and I am pretty sure I won't (can't) sell it.

I won't let go of some of my stuff because I got it cheap, I like playing with it, and I can't afford to replace it at epay prices.
