S-910 recone 'soncially equivalent?'

Copy says a shop did the recone for the original owner because the surrounds had separated from the cone. Anyone else think they sold a recone job when only new surrounds needed?

If above true, other woofer should need new surround as well.

I don't see how accordion paper and foam surround woofers can be very equivalent....

I would stay away. 379$ is a bit of much bucks, they don't deserve it (neither did they deserved this awful mod )

I prefer buying them when they need a refoam and do it myself

It probably needed a cone as those are brittle. But that ain't the way....

Sheesh how much should I ask for DSS-9s?
