Just came into a decent condition SAE TWO T7 tuner which seems to be complete just doesn't stay locked onto the Station or frequency.
It seems to do a bit of drifting or almost scanning (which isn't something you can do via controls). I believe this could be fixed via an alignment or possibly replacement of some parts inside the box.
I have done a pretty detailed search and can't find a manual or even a schematic for this on the net except for the usual sites that tell you they carry the manuals and then after ordering and paying it winds up they don't or send some very bad copy which is unreadable. So I already tried to find a manual for this even tried to order one to no avail.
My question is does anyone here know the alignment procedure or possibly have a service manual/schematic they could send? I understand these were the later more mass produced products after the company was sold to DAC and some don't consider it to be something worth a lot of trouble to fix, but if I am able would like to bring this tuner into proper working order. I have other tuners but for some reason I happen to like this tuner and would really like to have it working again.
Perhaps it is in need of alignment to make it work correctly, then again it might need other repairs, since I haven't a manual or even any paperwork I am unable to proceed further.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
