I'm working on an SA-9100 that I picked up off of Ebay non-working. Someone bypassed the power switch and gutted it. I'm curious if anyone knows if the SA-8500 power switch would work in it. Looks like it would mount the same. The lever shaft looks like it's a little different (maybe knob fitment issues). Or does anyone know where I can get a power switch for the 9100? Thanks in advance.
Looks like they recapped and gave up on a circuit protection problem. I found it with an open circuit for for the +35v going to the protection board. Going to replace the resistor along with a few suspect transistors, left and right channel transistors, protection bulb (missing), & the protection relay (sliding out of housing). As far as the switch... I may just leave it jumped temporarily until I can locate one on Ebay. They have a couple of the SA-8500 switches, but they're about 40 bucks so I may just wait.
