SA-9800 vs SA-9100

Hi all,

I bought a SA-9800 about two weeks ago. And now there is a SA-9100 which looks clean.
I think SA-9800 looks better and sounds great, but many here says SA-9100 is the best integrated by Pioneer. I would like to keep both that is not possible, so which one do you prefer?

They are both good. 9800 is bigger and flashier and supposedly has great phono stage if you use turntable. (I don't have TT) I like the simple elegance of 9100. For a smaller size it works great. My simple advice is pick the prettiest one because either will do fine. I'm sure you will be happy with 9800.

The only way to really know which you like better is to try them both. I've not heard either. Once you see which you like better, sell the other. You shouldn't lose anything with either of those.

The SA-9100 will most likely need work, I've read many had reliability issues (I did (and surely will) too). I haven't heard your sa-9800 but if you like it, stick with it :D
