SAE 2200 transistor replacement

Hello from Oregon coast. I am replacing some transistors in my SAE 2200. The same ones that always blow. The drivers and emitter resistor between them. Last time I did this was a long time ago. I used 2sa1011 for (sae# 11-0150) and 2sc2238 (Y)for (sae# 11-0151). That channel is still good. But I want to use newer easy to get transistors for the other side. Any ideas on better replacements for these. I am looking up data sheets to try to find some that match , but I thought id throw this out here and see if some people want to get in on this! After this I have two more to do. Same problem I think. I am also going to replace the outputs with something better. Currently they have 2sd424 and 2sb544.

I work on many SAE/GAS/SUMO and try to use current parts also, that being said you probably can't go wrong with ON Semi MJE-150xx in any of these amps. The voltages are low enough to get away with MJE15028/29 in this amp, for a little more insurance the MJE15030/31 would also work. For outputs the MJ21193/94, these are the outputs James Bongiorno was using in his GAS upgrades. James also liked to use Toshiba 2SA1837 and 2SC4793 in some locations requiring a high voltage transistor. These are a full plastic transistor and hard to use where the metal tab is used as a connection.

Thank You sir. That confirms my hopes. I have tons of the MJE1xxxx's and MJxxxxx's.
 
There is a 2200 schematic on the interweb that has the drivers reversed, PNP on top and NPN on the bottom, that is WRONG. So make sure NOT to use that schematic if you don't have one already. The SAE schematics seem to be easy to find but not much else, so I just pay my $20 and get everything available from MusicParts, most are downloads so not too much wait time.

I see that , thought I was going senile maybe. Thank You, I have always just gone off numbers on board for replacements on these SAE. But i was looking at the schematics and knew something was bass ackwards
