Hi All
Sae mark 2600 power amp at the left and right boards have trimpost,I
tested the trimpots with digital voltmeter and setted it to VDC.
I connect it to the right speaker terminal and I turn the amp on.
it must be at least 500 mV's ? or how much mVs?
Now adjust show 700 mv,s But when ı open the amp have this problem :the
vu meters go too forward and from speaker come blooob noice and relay
with this noice closing and after immediately opened.

IN THIS TEST METHODS WHEN I WILL CONNECT THE DIGITAL VOLTMETER TO
SPEAKERS TERMINALS HOW MANY mV,s MUST SHOW?
Thanks
Erkan

When the amp is off the relay is open. You will read 0vdc output. With the amp on nothing connected to either the inputs or outputs the relay should close. After the relay closes the speaker binding posts should have close to 0 vdc on them. under 50mv is ok. More than 50 mv needs attention.

When the amp opende must showed volt meter 50mv?

Hi
When the amp closed DIGITAL VOLT METER SHOWED 0 mVs

Does your meter show voltage when the probes are disconnected? If so it is probably picking up noise. Short the meter leads together. Meter should show 0 volts under that condition.

hen open the apm the meter sensivity knops MUST 0db position

Hi
SORRY MY BAD ENGLISH
You say me: When the open the apm the meter sensivity knops MUST 0db position AND I must read on the display voltmeter 50mV? IS CORRECT?

I think what he's trying to find out is if your meter is worth a damn.

You should head over to DIY Audio. I know there are lots of guys that visit the forum who live in Turkey and might be able to help you..maybe even live close enough to visit you and look at it.

I HAVE A MCINTOSH MC1201 + MC1000 + MC602 POWER AMP , ALL THIS AMP SHOWS THE SPEAKERS TERMINAL 0 DC VOLT.

all POWER AMPS MUST SHOW THE SPEAKERS TERMINAL 0DC VOLT? YOU ARE SURE?

I RENEWED ALL MY SAE 2600 CAPACITORS ,BIG CAPS, POLYESTER CAPS ETC...

HI AGAIN
OK I ADJUST THE SPEAKERS TERMINAL IS 0DC VOLT.

YOU SAY OK 0 DC AND 50 DC VOLT OK , BEETWEEN 0 AND 50M DC VOLT HAVE ANY SOUND CHANGES?

If you have the offset adjusted to 0VDC, that's all you need to worry about. DC is never a desirable thing at the speaker terminals, and always needs to be as low as possible.

You tell me 0 dc volt , why ı must worry about this?

Maybe it's a language thing, but I don't understand what you're worried about. Tell me one last time...maybe I'll get it. :scratch2:
