SAE R102 thoughts?

Hello! This will be my first time post after lurking here for years! I figure this is the best place to ask, I just purchased a SAE R-102 receiver today, and am wondering if I made a good choice? I’ve lusted after some SAE for a long time now and am curious what other members here have to say about this receiver that have or currently own it. Thanks for considering!

Your receiver looks a lot like my P101 pre-amp. If it's similar internally, it has a lot of relays that can be problem-prone.
 
It’s similar to that one, just that it’s a receiver on its own rather than only a preamp. I’m fine with changing relays if I have to
 
I'm working on an I102 (integrated amp) now, what a PITA. To work on the front panel circuit board you have to desolder EVERY LED to remove the PCB and some of the traces are very delicate. The LEDs are glued to the front panel. Also very little documentation for this series. When working they are decent.

How would you describe the sound though, that’s what I’m really wondering?
 
The only unit in that series that I've lived with for any time is the P101 preamp. Sounded OK as I recall, it's been many years.
