Sansui 221 Receiver and Technics SB-CR33 speakers question

I picked up a pair of Technics CR33 speakers a few weeks ago. I'm not try to rock a gym, just a small room. Will they work together?

I think that combo would give you moderate volume levels in a normal sized room.
The speakers arent horribly difficult to drive at 90 db 1W/1M, but the 221 being about 10 wpc is no powerhouse, so the receiver will run out of steam and start clipping long before the speakers even start to break a sweat.
I would be very careful running them together..least little weirdness thats heard, I would back the volume off so things don't get hurt or die.
 
I just picked up a pair of the CR33s as well. wondering what you guys may think about pushing these speakers with an HK 330c?
