Sansui 3000/3000A restoration help

I am searching through the threads but having trouble coming up with a comprehensive list of parts to replace.

Different techs over a number of years have done mods slightly differently or used different transistors subs.

Is there an up to date list of replacements that should be made on these receivers?

Your help would be much appreciated.

thx in advance

While I don't have a list just be aware that quite a few of the transistors that were go-to replacements on these BOM's in years past are no longer available today. A lot of the obsolete ones have modern subs but may not be a drop in replacement. Check data sheets for pinouts and other data points.

As an FYI there are complete restore parts kits available on eBay from a trusted seller who is also a member here.

Look for a user named "affinity for artifacts"

Use this as a search term and the kit should pop right up. Sansui 3000A Complete Rebuild Kit High-Quality Receiver Recap Transistors

Thanks, Ill check that user. Much appreciated.

This user name did not come up in Audiokarma. Do you mean to search that user name on eBay?

Yes, ebay. He also sells with the username peace.love.and.music. Same guy, very reliable.

Member @EastPoint Ebay store is Affinity for Artifacts these days. If you go to the store and click the About heading it will say the seller is peace.love.and.music which was the old name of their Ebay store they changed it a few years ago.
