So a friend came over while I was on vacation and left my stereo on for three weeks. When I came home my left channel no longer worked. :-(
I believe that the turntable's rca connection must have gotten a bit lose and created feedback or something (this is a problem I often have when I fall asleep listening to a record. I wake like six hours later to booming coming out of my speakers. I twist the connection and it falls silent again) and blew a component.
I am thinking to take this to a tech, but thought I would ask here first to see if there is anything simple that I can check for first.
Thank you in advance!
