I have a chance to buy this, but it has the following issue...
Sansui 3000A, right channel works, left channel blows fuses. $25 Plus shipping. @48 Lbs.

I'm new at repair so I was wondering if this would be an easy fix or should I pass it on. Thanks.

Blowing fuses is usually not an "easy" repair if you are not "tech" oriented.

It may be as simple as a blown output.
It may be as complicated as a tore up amp.
It may be a ripped up power supply (bridge rectifier, regulator, etc...).

IIRC the 3000A had a really lousy solder job from the factory (or was that the 2000...).

How much "tech" skill and tools do you have?

Volt Meter
Shouldering Iron
I worked in injection molding, we did some minor wiring and maint on molds.Which were nothing more than replacing heaters and and wiring thermocouples. So nothing major.

It has new outputs. Not sure if they are correct though. But if the right channel works? :scratch2:
