Sansui 331 static on left Sa

Need some help guys, my beloved Sansui 331 has developed a rather staticy left channel (also reduced volume) but only on speaker set 'A' - if I swap the speakers over onto the B channels the sound is perfect. Pots have been thoroughly cleaned etc, any ideas ?

Hi, did you also clean the speaker selector switch?

Has to be the speaker switch, the same amplifier goes to both the A and B outputs.

I think these use a Sanken Amplifier module, so not really much can go wrong.

I did work on one that had a crack in a track on the main circuit board causing dropouts and crackling......

Thanks Chaps, I'll have a go at cleaning the speaker switch with some Deoxit today.
